I decided to take these portraits of my sister at the school gardens. We went up to the school gardens because they have some good areas to take shots. I had to switch into several different positions to get better lighting. I think they turned out pretty decent. One thing I could work on is to learn how to position the people you are taking a portrait of.

This week I went out searching for some lights to take different angles and shots at. I stopped by at night at the Ford dealership and took the shot above and I kind of liked it. It show the line up of the trucks and the lights being flushed out a bit. The second shot I found some tractors lined up in the dark There was a post light I metered my camera with and ended up with good lighting to show these trucks lined up in the dark. I had to adjust the brightness and contrast as well.

I found someone that has a few pets here at BYUI. I found it is difficult that take pictures of animals because they are always moving. I had to take a lot of pictures of the bird because the window brought in a lot of light which would sometimes change the color of the bird. I like the snake and the contrast of the snake and the marble in the sink.
